How to plan, set, and manifest your goals.
The universe will always meet you halfway.
While in college, it is important that you set goals for yourself. Your goal can be to pass a class, study more often, or start an organization. Knowing what it is you would like to accomplish or where you would like to go is always the beginning. Below you will find ways to really find yourself reaching for your goals.
Brainstorm:
Before achieving any goal, you must first know what it is that you're trying to accomplish. What is it you truly want? This can be long-term or short-term. Sometimes it's easier to figure out what you want right now or in the near future. If you can't think of anything right now, that is okay, something will eventually come. While brainstorming your goals, be sure to think about your end results and include as much detail as possible.
Ask yourself the following questions:
Why do I want to achieve this goal? (make sure you're doing it for you)
How long might this take?
What would it look like in the end?
Where might I need assistance?
What tools do I currently have available?
Is there a population that this will benefit or that I should include?
Create a Plan:

Begin writing a plan that will allow you to achieve every aspect of your goals. Know that along the way, this plan may shift completely as you gain more knowledge and experience. Write about what actions you will need take to achieve these goals in the proposed timeline. This plan should be detailed and include what the execution of your plan will look like. Review your plan and make sure that it's realistic and manageable. Creating goals and timelines that aren't manageable can be discouraging and cause frustration. Take into account the things you are currently working on or will be working on. It is also a good idea to have a backup plan if your original plan doesn't work out. Understand that life is full of surprises and all about learning.
Visualize:

Once you have brainstormed your goals and made your plan, it is time to visualize. Imagine yourself as you put forth the effort to fulfill your plan. Most importantly, visualize yourself as you have completed each goal. As you imagine these things, add feeling and emotion behind the visualization. Imagine yourself experiencing each step of your plan and the joy of celebrating your accomplishment.
Execute:
Finally, it will be time to put this plan into action. At this time it is important to trust your ability. You can do anything you put your mind to. You have already mapped out everything you need to do. Take note of the things that work well and the things that don't. Planting your action seeds will allow your plans to grow. While in this stage, get creative and be sure to have some fun.
The only thing in the way of you receiving what it is you would like is you. Your mindset is everything.
