Fellowships

  1. CHCI Public Policy Fellowship: Offers talented Latinos, who have earned a bachelor’s degree within two years of the program start date a paid, nine-month fellowship in Washington, DC / Due January 15, 2019

  2. Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Science and Technology Policy Fellowships (SunShot Initiative Fellowships): Two-year opportunities for recent graduates and experienced scientists and engineers to participate in policy-related projects at DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Washington, DC / Due January 15, 2019

  3. San Francisco Fellows: Eleven-month fellowship for recent college graduates to work as full-time employees in San Francisco city government / Due January 15, 2019

  4. Structural Engineering Travel Fellowship: Recent graduates of Civil or Architectural Engineering from a U.S. school to work on buildings and bridges; the goal being increased appreciation of the aesthetic potential in structural design / Due January 21, 2019

  5. Greenlining Institute Fellowship Program: Year-long training program in Berkeley, CA working in the legal field for recent graduates with their undergraduate degrees by the start of the program / Due January 28, 2019

  6. Summer Public Health Scholars Program:10-week summer program for undergraduate students to increase interest in and knowledge of public health and biomedical science careers / Due January 31, 2019

  7. William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service in India: Young professionals between the ages of 21 and 34 from the U.S. or India to work with under-resourced NGOs on a variety of projects / Due January 31, 2019

  8. Killam Fellowships Program: Undergraduate students from universities in Canada and the United States to spend either one semester or a full academic year as an exchange student in a different country / Due January 31, 2019

Scholarships

  1. Radio Television Digital News Foundation Scholarship: Scholarships are open to undergraduate students pursuing careers in radio, television, or digital journalism. Winners must be officially enrolled, full-time sophomores, juniors or seniors in good standing when scholarships are awarded for the 2018-2019 academic year.

  2. Point Foundation: College Scholarship for LGBT Students: Point Foundation (Point) is the nation’s largest higher education scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) students. Point’s multifaceted support of its scholarship recipients (“scholars”) extends far beyond direct financial contribution toward the cost of their education. Each scholar is paired with a mentor and participates in leadership development programs and event.

  3. American Council of Engineering Companies - California Scholarship: To qualify as an applicant for the ACEC California Scholarship Program, a student must be scheduled to enter their junior, senior, fifth or graduate year in the fall. Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time in an engineering or land-surveying curriculum approved by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

  4. Samuel Huntington Public Service Award: Provides a $15,000 stipend for a graduating college senior from a U.S. university to pursue one year of public service anywhere in the world .
